As a child, Rachel played piano and sang for her family and friends. She enjoyed the performances and music evolved into an everyday pulse of her life. Songwriting however, came from a different place.
"Lyrics are the most important part of my songs. As an artist, I can't write anything I don't feel. You have to be authentic. If I cannot open up my heart, then I am not truly honest, and my songs are brutally honest".
Success as a songwriter came as suprise to her. Rachel never dreaming of making music that an entire generation of fans would embrace so powerfully. Her music has gathered hundreds of thousands of hits on YouTube.com [visit Rachel's YouTube.com page]. She has received kind endorsements from Ryan Tedder (OneRepublic), Issac Slade (The Fray) as well as many music publishers from L.A. & Nashville.
Rachel is currently working with producer Joey Barba (Tickle Me Pink) on a full length national release coming this summer.
